How far will US President Donald Trump go in his efforts to disrupt the global trade order? How long is this going to last? What is there for the EU to negotiate?

Today Radio Schuman answers these questions with Varg Folkman, policy analyst at the Brussels based think tank, the European Policy Centre.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen defended the EU’s decision to pause its countermeasures against US President Donald Trump’s steel and aluminium tariffs, saying it aims to allow space for negotiations.

Radio Schuman also discussed best places in Europe for ‘workation’.

Radio Schuman is hosted and produced by Maïa de la Baume, with journalist and production assistant Eleonora Vasques, audio editing by David Brodheim. Music by Alexandre Jas.
