It’s not Spelling Manor but it will have to do!
It was nearly a year ago when Tori Spelling was photographed crashing at a $100-a-night flea bag motel in Los Angeles with her five children after a mold issue forced the family out of their posh Hidden Hills rental home.
She would make headlines again just a few weeks later after she was spotted at a RV campground in Ventura County living out of a motor home with her kids.
The humble living situation came amid hard times for the 90210 star – who had been navigating her recent split from husband of 18 years Dean McDermott as well as financial issues.
But now, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal that Tori, 50, is no longer ‘homeless‘ and has upgraded to a stunning contemporary two-story, five-bedroom, three-bath home with over 3,000 square feet. The fully furnished digs in the west San Fernando Valley rents for a hefty $15,000 a month.
It’s no Spelling Manor but Tori Spelling’s new home is certainly an upgrade from the shabby $100-a-month motel and motor home Spelling was reportedly living in at one point last year
Tori Spelling has settled into a contemporary two-story, five-bedroom, three-bath home with her children, in Woodland Hills, California, after spending months in temporary, humble housing
The 3,000 square foot property came fully furnished and rents for $15,000 a month, DailyMail.com can reveal
The rental boasts a brand new pool and spa that will be great for the family to cool off in the upcoming triple digit valley summer temperatures
In an Instagram post promoting a giveaway on Valentine’s Day, Tori posed among the household items up for grabs on what appeared to be the floor of her new home
There was also a $7,500 security deposit or fee for the short-term rental.
The home boasts a brand new pool and spa that will be great for Tori’s family to cool off in the upcoming triple digit valley summer.
There is a large staircase and entryway with a lavish chandelier and hardwood floors throughout.
The real estate profile boasts the home is an ‘entertainer’s dream’, with a kitchen that has two ovens, double sinks, lots of counter space and seating for 16 people.
‘This home has plenty of space for large families and groups to spread out and relax,’ reads the profile.
It has a garage, central air, and all the necessary appliances.
Lucky for Tori it allows for pets—cats and dogs—but there has been no mention of allowing the menagerie of pets that she housed while living in Hidden Hills.
Dean McDermott, 57, told the DailyMail.com last year that he and Tori stopped sleeping in the same room thanks to her love of her animals.
Tori and her family were revealed to have been staying at a budget motel in Los Angeles last July after a severe mold issue forced them out of their Hidden Hills home
Weeks later, the actress and her children were photographed at a Ventura County campground where they had been sleeping in an RV
Tori revealed she and kids had to leave their rental home in an Instagram post, claiming they had suffered months of poor health as a result of the toxic mold problem
‘[They were] sleeping in the bedroom and on the bed. There was the pig. There’s a chicken that was living in the bathroom and multiple dogs. And we all know dogs have accidents and our particular dogs were having a lot. And I just couldn’t deal with that anymore.’
The couple separated after 17 years of marriage in June of last year.
In October, the DailyMail.com broke the news that Dean had found love with account manager Lily Calo, 34. He has since moved in with the pretty brunette.
Not to be outdone or upstaged, after the photos of Dean with his new girlfriend emerged, Tori herself was snapped on a date with her CEO pal Ryan Cramera.
Prior to this rental, Tori and her children—Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11 and Beau, six—were seen renting a home in the Tarzana area for $17,000 a month.
Like every other home she has lived at, there was some traumatic event that makes her pack up and leave.
Tori and Dean – who are now separated – share five children: Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, six
In October, DailyMail.com reveal Dean had moved on with 32-year-old Lily Calo after they were snapped holding hands during a trip to the Department of Social Services in Chatsworth
In that case it was a SWAT event at a next-door neighbor’s home that had her packing her bags once again.
Sometimes it’s just an ‘Ants in the pantry!’ tweet that she sends out and later has her packing up her brood and heading to a new home.
Her residential wanderlust and moving obsession was chronicled in her 2013 memoir Spelling It Like It Is.
‘But as it persists, it’s starting to look compulsive. Moving is expensive, and I’ve put us in a precarious financial situation,’ the former Beverly Hills 90210 star wrote.
Despite that brief moment of introspection, nothing has changed in the last decade.
Tori’s producer father Aaron died in June 2006 leaving her and her brother Randy just $800,000 each instead of a sizeable chunk of his $500m fortune
Tori grew up quite privileged, living in a massive 56.5K-square-foot French chateau-style mansion her TV mogul father Aaron Spelling had constructed in 1988
Her mother, Candy Spelling, 78, told TMZ in 2016 that she was footing the bill for the McDermott family’s ‘necessities’ including rent, food, school, insurance, but not their numerous debts to banks and credit card companies.
In her memoir she also revealed that she enjoys story telling like her famous TV producer father, creating fake narratives that the public eats up, like a very staged vow renewal storyline for their Oxygen reality show.
‘I’m Aaron Spelling’s daughter, I know how to tug at the heartstrings,’ she proudly wrote about her part of the production.
Tori and her younger brother Randy Spelling, 45, were left with around $800,000 when their father TV mogul Aaron Spelling—with a new worth of $600million – died in 2006 at the age of 83.
She spent part of her childhood in the palatial Spelling ‘Manor’ in a posh Holmby Hills neighborhood that boasted 123-rooms, bowling alley, and even a gift-wrapping room!
It sold for $120million in 2019.
