President Trump made a grand, heavyweight-style entrance to the UFC 316 fight Saturday night in New Jersey, sending the crowd into a frenzy of “USA!” chants.
The commander in chief walked ringside at the Prudential Center with UFC CEO Dana White scored to the Kid Rock song “ American Badass.”
Trump greeted several celebrities in attendance including former World Heavyweight Champion Boxer Mike Tyson and UFC announcer Joe Rogan.
Several seemingly random civilians in the crowd also received glad-hands from the president during his pomp-filled arrival.
Also in attendance Saturday were First Daughter Ivanka Trump, First Son Eric Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Acting Attorney for the State of New Jersey Alina Habba.
Last time President Trump took a trip to UFC he was accompanied by SpaceX billionaire Elon Musk, who dramatically called out the president over social media in a series of deranged posts on his platform X earlier this week.
Saturday’s main event is a bantamweight bout between Merab “The Machine” Dvalishvili and “Sugar” Sean O’Malley. Dvalishvili has won a UFC-bantamweight division record of 11 straight victories leading up to Saturday.
