Ukrainian band Ziferblat have left Kyiv for Basel to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

The trio, singer Daniel Leshchynskyi, his twin brother Valentyn on guitar, and drummer Fedir Khodakov, will perform their entry Bird of Pray during the first semi-final on 13 May.

The group says their song is about hope, and through their performance, they aim to raise awareness about the ongoing war in Ukraine.

“Some people just need to be reminded,” said Valentyn at a Kyiv press conference.

The 69th edition of Eurovision will see 37 countries compete in Basel, Switzerland.
