Warriors assistant coach Chris DeMarco has emerged as a serious contender for the Liberty’s head coaching job, multiple sources told The Post on Tuesday.

He joins a pool of finalists that includes former Nets assistant Will Weaver, Raptors assistant Jama Mahlalela and Mercury associate head coach Kristi Toliver.

DeMarco, 40, is a four-time NBA champion assistant coach and has more than a decade of coaching experience at the NBA and international level.

He’s spent the past 14 years with the Warriors, working his way up from video coordinator to his current role as an assistant on Steve Kerr’s staff.
