Elizabeth told DailyMail.com she thinks the method works ‘because it doesn’t involve too much thinking when getting dressed in the morning.’
‘Following a color palette and having a method makes getting dressed more simple and I love a uniform look,’ Elizabeth said, noting that she would ‘definitely recommend it to her clients.’

Kristen thinks the sandwich method ‘provides an easy way to throw on pieces from your closet and in turn, have an elevated outfit.’
And she thinks it’s not just for street style. The method can even be incorporated into athleisure for weekends or workouts.
Kristen suggested the brand’s black pouf skirt, white tank, and white tennis shoes, and topping it all off with a black visor.

Newport Beach, California-based Kaitlyn O’Neill, 23 who founded the jewelry brand Honey by Kait, told DailyMail.com, ‘The sandwich method works well because it makes an outfit look cohesive.’
Kaitlyn called it ‘a perfect way to elevate a simple day-to-day outfit, and look more professional and fashion-forward.’
‘This method of styling can be used to tie in pops of color and bold accessories, while also maintaining a clean-cut look,’ Kaitlyn continued.
Kaitlyn takes the sandwich method one more step, by incorporating her accessories.
‘If I have boots with gold hardware, and sunglasses with gold hardware, a pair of gold hoop earrings and a stack of gold necklaces will tie the whole outfit together, while placing a spotlight on the jewelry,’ Kaitlyn said.
The fashion guru is all about ‘the small details in an outfit’ and tries to match her jewelry to her handbag and shoes.’
And to elevate the sandwich method, Kaitlyn ‘adds different textures to an outfit, along with different pops of color, and tones of gold or silver.’
