Whether it’s the Green Jacket, an Olympic medal or the riches that follow a Championship play-off win, there’s always a prize to symbolise a historic victory. Telegraph Fantasy Football is no different – not only are you playing for pride competing against your peers but there is also more than a £10,000 prize pool given out to champions across the season.
Here is a breakdown of all the prizes that can be won.
The Overall League
At the end of the long Premier League season there is a tendency for the cream to rise to the top and duly the highest-scoring Telegraph Fantasy Football managers over the season are handsomely rewarded, with the champion receiving £5,000, the runner-up £250, third place £100 and fourth £50.
Wooden Spoon
Alternatively you can try to target the Wooden Spoon, awarded to the manager of the lowest-scoring team who will receive £50. Here you’ll want to target non-starters, leaky defences and players with a poor disciplinary record.
The One League
This is very similar to the Overall League but, as the name suggests, each manager can only have one team in this league and the winner will receive £500.
The Golden Boot League
A £250 prize will be awarded to the manager whose team finish top of the Golden Boot leaderboard, with the highest number of goals over the whole of the 2024-25 season. Goals scored in penalty shoot-outs are not included in the Golden Boot total.
The Starting XI League
This is a leaderboard based on the number of points scored by a team over the entire season based on the 11 players in that team from the start of the first game of the season (8pm (BST) on Friday, August 16, 2024). The winner of this league will receive £200.
Plucky Paid Leagues
This season we have managed to bring back Paid Leagues thanks to the help of Plucky.com.
There are three public paid leagues run by Plucky, a £10 entry, a £20 entry and a £50 entry.
You can also convery your own private or public leagues into Plucky Paid Leagues and safely compete for cash against fellow managers.
Public Leagues: Three Lions, Facebook, Twitter and Fantasy Football Hub League
As you may have guessed, the Three Lions League can only be entered with a team entirely made up of players eligible to play for England. The manager who tops the league at the end of the season will receive £50.
The winners of the Facebook League and the Twitter League will each receive £50. This is a great chance for you to compete and interact with like-minded fantasy managers through our social channels.
For the last two seasons we have had a new way to win in Telegraph Fantasy Football. The experts at Fantasy Football Hub have an offical league where the winner will win £100 and the top performing manager without a current subscription will win a year subscription.
However, do note you cannot enter the same team into these four leagues.
Weekly prizes
Every week there is something to compete for during the season. If you manage to top the scoring in any Game Week you will receive £50. Game Weeks run every Tuesday to Monday throughout the season. Weekly prizes are only awarded where at least one eligible match is played in a week.
Monthly prizes
We all go through a purple patch in the season and by playing Telegraph Fantasy Football you are rewarded for doing so.
