The Amazon billionaire and his American former journalist bride revealed their engagement in May 2023 after the businessman popped the question on board his $500million superyacht.
Sanchez told Vogue that she ‘blacked out’ when she saw her huge pink-diamond engagement ring, and revealed that Bezos proposed after they enjoyed a dinner for two under the stars.
She said she wasn’t wearing any makeup and her partner had concealed the ring under her pillow for her to stumble across at bedtime.
The loved-up couple then celebrated their engagement with a star-studded party at Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller’s Beverly Hills mansion in November 2023, with guests including Kim Kardashian, Robert Pattinson and Oprah.

THE DATE & DESTINATION
Reports initially circulated that there was to be a ‘winter wonderland wedding’ in Aspen on December 28 last year, but the date came and went with no nuptials.
Now, a source close to the couple has revealed that the wedding is very much still ‘on’ and will happen this summer, a little more than two years after Bezos popped the question.
Plans have been ‘inked in’, with invitations coming imminently, a source told The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff.
‘You won’t miss this one when it happens,’ said the source, adding that the wedding is going to be ‘big’.
Many believe the pair’s nuptials will be a destination wedding, somewhere in Europe, along the lines of Tom Cruise‘s wedding to Katie Holmes that took place in a castle in Rome, according to The Daily Mail.
Sanchez is friends with socialite Nicky Hilton Rothschild – who had her wedding at the Orangery in Kensington Place, London.

The New Shepard rocket, a 59-foot tall (18-meter) suborbital spacecraft, will carry the crew to the Kármán line, the internationally recognised boundary of space, Bezos-owned Blue Origin said in a statement.
Passengers will experience a few minutes of microgravity before returning to Earth via parachute-assisted landing in the West Texas desert.
NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics researcher Amanda Nguyen and movie producer Kerianne Flynn will make up the rest of the crew. The company has not disclosed a date for the mission.
This is the 11th human flight for the rocket and its 31st overall. The last recorded all-female spaceflight was the 1963 solo mission of Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space.
New Shepard’s first crewed flight in July 2021 carried Jeff Bezos and his brother Mark.
The rocket has since taken former NFL player Michael Strahan and Star Trek actor William Shatner, who became the oldest person in space at the age to 90.
The company’s giant New Glenn rocket blasted off from Florida last month on its first mission to space, an inaugural step into Earth’s orbit for Jeff Bezos’ space company as it aims to rival SpaceX in the satellite launch business.
THE WEDDING DRESS

Sources say Sanchez has already bought her wedding dress from celeb-loved Oscar de la Renta.
The New York-based fashion house was also chosen by actress Naomi Watts and George Clooney’s wife Amal for their weddings in 2023 and 2014 respectively.
Sánchez also revealed during a November 2024 appearance on TODAY that she was using social media platform Pinterest to get inspiration for her wedding.
‘Very excited about it, thinking about the dress, I have to say, I do have a Pinterest, I’m just like every other bride, so I do have a Pinterest board,’ Sanchez shared at the time.
Barbara Letizia, a New York City-based bridal stylist and designer, believes that Sánchez could go for a ‘mermaid-style gown’ complete with a ‘long, dramatic train’ for the ceremony.
‘I see her in a gown that accentuates her curves,’ Letizia told DailyMail.com exclusively in February 2025.
‘I think it will have some sort of beading and crystals,’ she continued. ‘She may even have a corseted bodice with a sheer or lace element because she has worn similar styles to past events.’
For the reception, Letizia said that she could see the pilot wearing something that was ‘fitted and sparkly,’ or even a dress that has a ‘leg slit.’

As a bridal stylist, Letizia would encourage the bride-to-be to wear a gown that is fitted in the hips and bodice to show off her ‘amazing figure.’
‘Either a very thin strap or a strapless neckline would look great on her – especially a sweetheart neckline,’ the designer shared.
During her November 2023 Vogue interview, Sánchez admitted that there were ‘so many incredible designers’ to choose from, naming Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Valentino as some of her favourites.
Kate Loscalzo, lead bridal stylist and founder of Something White Styling, told DailyMail.com: ‘Based on her personal style, she seems like she is willing to try new things and make a statement with her outfits, and her wedding wardrobe will be no exception.’
The stylist revealed that if she were to style Sánchez for the big day, she would go with a ‘corseted, liquid satin gown with a fitted or column skirt and a subtle slit.’
‘This would accentuate her petite figure and define her waistline without overwhelming her,’ she shared.
‘A dramatic veil or cape could add a touch of drama for the ceremony. Later, she could change into a glitzy mini dress for the reception.’
This falls in line with some of the recent bridal trends that Loscalzo has been seeing herself, like removable dress elements such as sleeves and overskirts, as well as ‘castlecore dresses,’ which feature corset bodices and ‘layered fabrics like chiffon or sultry lace that feel medieval like and romantic.’

‘Based on Lauren’s signature makeup style, I anticipate she’ll go for a look that feels ultra polished and timelessly glamorous,’ Brielle Bahr, an Atlanta-based bridal makeup artist, told DailyMail.com exclusively.
‘She tends to favour a softly sculpted complexion with a luminous finish, complemented by full, fluttery lashes and a subtly defined eye,’ Bahr continued.
‘Given the elegance of a bridal moment, I imagine she’ll enhance these signature elements while keeping the overall look balanced… something refined yet striking.’
She noted that currently, a lot of brides are opting for looks that ‘feel effortlessly radiant,’ with eye makeup that ‘enhances their natural shape and eye colour’ without being too overpowering, as well as skin that appears ‘fresh yet perfected.’
Bahr imagines Sánchez going for ‘an elevated version’ of what she usually likes to wear.
‘For Lauren specifically, I’d recommend staying true to her signature features, but refining everything for a bridal setting,’ the makeup artist offered.
‘A foundation with a radiant, long-wearing finish, softly sculpted cheeks, and a touch of liquid or cream highlighter to catch the light in photos.’

She added that she really liked Sánchez’s makeup that she wore at last year’s Met Gala, explaining that it felt quite bridal.
For the 2024 Met Gala, where the theme was The Garden of Time, the mother-of-three wore a custom gown made by Oscar de la Renta, which featured a tight black corset bodice with big mosaic pearl and shattered mirrored pieces on the bottom of the dress.
Her makeup was soft and sculpted, featuring light pink cheeks and a neutral, matte lip.
‘As inspiration for her wedding, I’d opt for a similar approach while adding a bit more emphasis and dimension to her eyes to enhance them even further for photos,’ Bahr suggested.
‘A subtle smoked-out liner with lifted definition would still give that wide-eyed effect she gravitates towards while also maintaining an elegant, bridal feel,’ the makeup artist shared.
SANCHEZ’S FIRST SPECTACULAR WEDDING
In 2005, Sanchez married Patrick Whitesell after falling in love at first sight with the handsome power-agent in 2004.
Thanks to Whitesell’s connections, her first wedding was said to be a starry extravaganza. Guests included Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba and Hugh Jackman, who sang Mack the Knife.
Sanchez gave an interview to People magazine about the festivities, noting: ‘Matt [Damon] and Ben [Affleck] don’t get to see each other often, so we sat them together.’
