Emma Raducanu has been named on the entry list for the French Open qualifying tournament.
The 2021 US Open champion’s world ranking of 221 meant she missed on direct entry to the main draw for this month’s major and is fifth on the alternates list.
As it stands, Raducanu needs five players above her to withdraw or receive a wildcard to enter the main draw. If this does not happen, Raducanu will have to qualify.
Heather Watson, Sara Errani and Alize Cornet are among the names currently alongside Raducanu on the qualifying list.
