A trail camera seemingly caught a day in the life of some wild hogs, but eagle-eyed viewers have already noticed a glaring detail in the footage.
Northern Florida resident Brad Hoffman’s trail camera caught the moment a mother hog was midway through giving birth.
The black hog, surrounded by many little ones, can be seen grazing on some greenery with her head off-screen.
But as several Instagram users pointed out, half of her soon-to-be newborn baby hog’s body could also be seen emerging from of its mother’s womb on February 26.
‘That’s crazy!’ one Instagram commenter wrote under the post that was shared by Lower Florida Bucks.
‘Man, them hogs is tough!’ another user wrote.
A third commented on how calm the mother was, writing: ‘If momma’s actually eating like it looks like she’s doing… Hat’s off! Damn!’

Meanwhile, another suggested that predators would be soon to arrive on the scene.
‘Where are the coyotes when you need them,’ a fourth user coyly wrote.
Others, however, questioned the authenticity of the trial camera’s monumental find, with many believing the image had been altered.
‘That’s definitely photoshopped I’m disappointed,’ one wrote.
‘Sorry bud but the pig is just standing behind the mother,’ another added.
‘Plus, they give birth laying down.’
While it’s true that typically hogs lie down while giving birth, the resilient creatures can also deliver their young while standing up, according to The Pig Site.
The mother will typically stand after the farrowing is complete to urinate before laying back down.

Little hogs are typically birthed like humans – head first – but can come out feet first later in the birthing process.
What’s even more intriguing about the photo is that hogs can give birth to up to 12 pigs per litter, meaning the little one glimpsed in this picture may have more brothers and sisters on the way.
