An ‘everything shower’ takes on a different meaning for some people – and one woman was appalled to discover her husband’s cleaning technique.
TikTok user Brit shared a video as her spouse demonstrated how he showers – much to the disgust of not only herself but other viewers.
‘I’m just so upset,’ Brit says in the clip. ‘I found out how my husband washes his body in the shower.’
‘Please help, this cannot be how men shower,’ the disturbed woman wrote on the video, which has amassed over three million views since it was posted.
In a comment, Brit added: ‘He doesn’t even know what a washcloth is.’
In a clip shared to TikTok, Brit’s husband shows off his cleaning routine – starting off with scrubbing his beard.
After demonstrating the exact level of effort he exerts whilst washing his facial hair and head – which Brit approved of, he moved on to the rest of his body.
‘I make a triangle,’ he shared, making a triangle shape across his stomach and pointing downwards.

‘I’m scared for my life. Stop!’ she exclaimed as he continued his movements.
He disturbed his wife even more with the next steps in his cleaning routine.
‘Then you get out your Mastercard and you Amex right back here,’ he joked, demonstrating washing his behind.
But after that, his shower routine is complete and he gets out of the shower – much to Brit’s disgust.
‘That’s how you wash your body?’ she asked in disbelief.
‘You’re telling me you don’t even wash your pits?’ she continued. ‘You don’t even round the corners of your cheeks and you sit on public toilets?’
Users were equally as appalled by the lackluster wash, taking to the comments section to share their thoughts.
‘You need to take showers together to supervise,’ one TikTok user joked.

‘You married him without knowing this information???????’ questioned another.
For others, it was constructive.
‘Be right back, going to go talk to my teenage boys… I’m not about to raise a man that does this,’ wrote one woman.
While it’s normal in western society to wash daily – sometimes multiple times a day – it’s not necessarily necessary, according to an expert.
Professor Sally Bloomfield, of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said the only reason we do it is to be ‘socially acceptable’ by warding off ‘nasty’ body odor.
She said washing too much could strip the body of its self-regulating microbiome — the microorganisms that live in our body and help control oil levels on skin. In theory, dermatologists say it may leave skin more susceptible to irritants.
Despite her claims, Professor Bloomfield admitted that she still showers every day to keep her hair looking ‘reasonable’.
