A woman was filmed breaking down during a birthday weekend break after being told by police that her boyfriend had exposed himself to a housekeeper.
The incident unfolded at resort hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida, June 8, 2024, after cops were called to reports of a drunk and unruly guest targeting staff, bodycam footage newly-obtained by Body Cam Watch shows.
After arresting the suspect, the bodycam footage showed his girlfriend being told that her vacation was over as staff explained what her partner had done that morning.
‘He pulled out his private parts to one of our housekeepers in the room,’ a staffer said, as the woman put her head in her hands.
A hotel staffer explained during the encounter that the night before, they heard the couple arguing, and described it as sounding ‘like a wrestling match.’
The full footage began with the housekeeper being questioned by officers, where she said she didn’t want to press charges but asked cops to escort the man off the premises.
After finding the suspect’s hotel room was empty, officers tracked his girlfriend down to an outside hotel bar.
Appearing to be unsurprised that she was approached by officers, the woman says she didn’t know where her partner was, but added: ‘We’re here for my birthday.’

Soon after, the man, who has not been identified, was caught in the hotel lobby while shirtless and wearing a large silver medallion.
He slurred his words as he repeatedly insisted that when he allegedly exposed himself to the housekeeper, she ‘offered him $20’, but couldn’t say what for.
After initially heading towards his hotel room with an officer, the suspect then refused to get into an elevator, leading the cop to put him in handcuffs and take him out to his squad car.
He refused to cooperate and provide his name from the back of the cop car, at one point telling the officer: ‘You’re taking me in for no reason… just because you don’t like me.’
As they looked for his partner up in her room, another officer arrived on the scene, and the first officer explained: ‘So apparently, they had a big fight last night, all night.’
He explained that after the girlfriend left the room the next morning, the suspect told a housekeeper out in the hall that he wanted his room cleaned.
‘She comes inside, and he’s sitting on the couch with his thing out,’ the officer recalled.
‘She goes into the bathroom and when she comes out, he’s on the bed.’
Cops tracked the suspect’s girlfriend down to one of the hotel’s swimming pools, where she told officers that she and her partner were enjoying a vacation for her birthday

Once in a cop car, the suspect refused to cooperate and provide his name, at one point telling the officer: ‘You’re taking me in for no reason… just because you don’t like me’
He explained that, according to the housekeeper, the suspect then blocked the housekeeper from leaving the hotel room.
At the same moment, the officer ordered his partner to go and search for the suspect’s girlfriend.
She found her in a swimming pool, and after asking her to get out to join the other officers, she admits: ‘I’m not drunk… I’m just not happy.’
She broke down in tears and wept as she realized their dream birthday vacation was over, and went back to her room to collect her belongings.
The hotel then ordered the couple to both be taken off the resort, and the suspect was subsequently charged with resisting without violence.
