Will There Be a House of the Dragon Season 4?
Yes, HBO has renewed House of the Dragon for a fourth season.
During a recent virtual press conference, House of the Dragon showrunner Ryan Condal teased that the next season of House of the Dragon may be bigger than any before.
“We have an incredible season coming. As crazy and big as Season 3 was, I think Season 4 is going to be even bigger,” Condal said. “It’s a great privilege to be able to tell a story, and to be able to control and write the ending, and to control when and where that happens. This is not a given in making television, certainly.”
“So, we’re very excited to get back in, and we have new characters, and new dragons and new locations all to come, that I think are gonna make it a very worthy, final season,” he said.
When Will House of the Dragon Season 4 Come Out?
It traditionally takes about two years for HBO to make a new season of House of the Dragon. This is because of the intense levels of craftsmanship employed in every part of production. So we can expect House of the Dragon Season 4 to arrive some time in 2028.
Can’t wait that long for more Westeros content? A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 is supposed to come out early in 2027. The new season will introduce characters like Rohanne Webber (Lucy Boynton) and Ser Eustace Osgrey of Standfast (Peter Mullan) to HBO’s version of Westeros.
