K18 AirWash review: We tried Alix Earle’s ‘magical’ dry shampoo

We gave this superstar staple a dry run.

From Alix Earle to Simone Biles, plenty of stars have promoted K18’s AirWash Dry Shampoo over the years  — but is the innovative product all it’s cracked up to be? New York Post Commerce Partnerships Associate Brooke Parker certainly thinks so.

“The results speak for themselves, but that won’t stop me from spreading the word as much as I can to anyone who is also sick of powdery fingerprints on their dark clothes — and trading greasy roots for crunchy ones dulled by heavy powders,” she raves.

While she was initially “very apprehensive” of the unique wet-to-dry formula, Brooke tried it on a trip to a hot, humid destination — and it was an “instant love.”

“The results last several days and do not leave even the slightest bit of build-up,” she added.

Designed to absorb excess oil on the hair and scalp, AirWash is made with microalgae to help promote healthy strands over time (not just when you use it).

When Earle tried it out in a sponsored video in 2025, she was surprised by its performance.

“I’m confused on how this works so well,” she wrote, calling it “actually magical.”

But don’t just take her word for it: AirWash has over 630 impassioned five-star reviews on Amazon alone.

It’s not the only K18 product stars flock to.

Bethenny Frankel once posted a TikTok about the Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask, a damage-reversal formula she said gave her “hair like new in four minutes.”

“Lately my hair has been so shiny; like, it looks like I have really healthy hair,” she raved in the sponsored clip.
