This Morning‘s Alison Hammond has landed a new TV role with the BBC.
The TV presenter will host an all-new weekend entertainment programme with the broadcaster titled Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend, which will see the star spend time with «some of the UK’s biggest celebrities» interviewing them about their lives, often from the comfort of their homes.
The BBC has commissioned six episodes which will air on BBC One and iPlayer next year.

«Each episode will see Alison spend 48 hours with a celebrity where she will really get to know them,» teases the synopsis.
«Set to be filmed across the UK, Alison will be asking all the big questions in her unique and hilarious way which has made the This Morning and Great British Bake Off star one of the country’s most loved personalities.»
Alison said she was «excited» to be a part of the project, promising to unearth a few celebrity secrets on the show.
«I’m so excited to serve up some big lols and tons of OMG revelations on the BBC as I spend some quality time with some of the UK’s favourite celebrities,» she said. «When I’m on a mission no secret is safe, and trust me no stone or cupboard will go unturned!»
Details of the celebrity guests set to star on Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend will be announced at a later date.
Viewers will be seeing even more of Alison on their screens this month, with the TV host set to make her presenting debut in ITV’s For the Love of Dogs on April 16.
In January she was announced as the new host of the reality series, set at Battersea Dogs & Cats home, taking over from the late Paul O’Grady who passed away in March 2023.
Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend will air on BBC One and iPlayer in 2025.
