To call this a cheeseburger doesn’t really feel accurate to me. Sure, it’s a ground beef patty and cheese on a bun, but this is like something … else. And I love it.
It’s quite a testament to McDonald’s that I love it, as a matter of fact. I generally don’t order burgers from fast-food restaurants unless that restaurant is called In-N-Out. Ketchup isn’t my favorite thing either, and tomato is usually a required component in my mind.
This burger is loaded with ketchup, doesn’t contains a single tomato, and defies what I love on all levels. And I still can’t resist it. This sloppily-assembled mess of ingredients is a winner for me every time.
I should probably mention something important about these cheeseburgers, and the same goes for every other burger on this list. McDonald’s has a very specific window of time in which this food is best enjoyed. The minute your cheese starts to solidify again, you’re in trouble. Eat this guy immediately.
