Two masked thugs jumped a longtime Los Angeles business owner in broad daylight, pistol-whipping him in the head and stealing his watch during a brazen robbery in the city’s Fashion District.

Shocking surveillance footage shows the two men, dressed in black, leaping out of the passenger side of a black sedan and rushing Israeli business owner Ronan Vered as he stood in the doorway of his store Wednesday, Oct. 21, at around 3:15 p.m.

The terrifying attack was captured on the store’s security cameras and shared online by Israeli Week News.

The video shows the two suspects holding a gun to Vered’s head before one of them starts beating him to the ground, with customers still inside the store.

The robbers take turns yanking and assaulting the businessman before one of them unleashes a brutal pistol-whipping attack to his head. Blood can be seen splattered on the ground in the aftermath.

Vered struggles to escape the beating, but one of the suspects allegedly manages to snatch the watch from his wrist before the pair flee in their getaway car.

Los Angeles Police Department Public Information Officer Tony Im confirmed that officers responded to a robbery in the 1100 block of East 12th Street that afternoon.

Police were called shortly after 3 p.m. for a robbery involving a victim in his 50s whose watch was stolen. Authorities did not provide a value for the timepiece, though the outlet reported it was a Rolex worth about $50,000.

A crime bulletin was issued for two Black male suspects wearing black who were driving a black sedan, Im said. No further details were immediately available, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt shared the terrifying video on social media on Thursday, with a stark message to Angelenos.

“My buddy’s neighbor just got robbed and pistol-whipped in broad daylight in downtown LA. Look at how unbothered these animals are. No rush. No fear of getting arrested,” Pratt wrote on X.
