We’re less than a month from the 2024 NFL Draft, and the crazy NFL fans among us are already foaming at the mouth anticipating the return of NFL football. This year’s draft will be a fun one, for everyone except for Carolina Panthers fans, of course. There is still so much unknown surrounding the top-five, and even more regarding the middle and end of the first round.
Regardless, with so many questions still unanswered, trying to predict next year’s Super Bowl winner is a fool’s errand, right? Well, there are still some of us out there hoping to cash in on the next Super Bowl winner before it becomes readily apparent. Vegas’ oddsmakers are hard at work trying to deduce who the most likely team will be to hoist the next Lombardi Trophy.

NFL STATS CENTRAL: The latest NFL scores, schedules, odds, stats and more.
Among the favorites, the Green Bay Packers stand out as a great deal. The Packers gave the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers an incredible run for their money in the Divisional Round last year. With the addition of Josh Jacobs, the Packers should have an improved ground game. The Packers could still certainly use better wide receivers, but the draft could solve that problem. The Packers have 11 picks in the upcoming draft, including two second-round picks. Hopefully, the Packers use an early-round pick on providing quarterback Jordan Love with another weapon.
The longshots:
- New York Jets (+2200)
- Atlanta Falcons (+2200)
- Houston Texans (+2500)
- Los Angeles Chargers (+3000)
- Chicago Bears (+3000)
- Los Angeles Rams (+3500)
- Jacksonville Jaguars (+4000)
- Cleveland Browns (+4000)
With Arthur Smith finally out in Atlanta, and the addition of Kirk Cousins, the Falcons have the weapons, the quarterback, and hopefully the playbook to carry them to the top of the weak NFC South. Playing in such a weak division should give the Falcons a pretty simple path to the playoffs, and anything can happen at that point.
The Underdogs:
- Pittsburgh Steelers (+5000)
- Indianapolis Colts (+6000)
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+7500)
- Seattle Seahawks (+7500)
- New Orleans Saints (+8000)
- Minnesota Vikings (+8000)
We are just two years removed from the Minnesota Vikings having one of the best records in the NFL. Sure, Kirk Cousins is gone, but he was gone most of last year and the Vikings still managed to win seven games. The talent is there for the team to return to the postseason if they can find their quarterback in the draft. The Vikings currently have the No. 11 overall pick, which could put them in prime position to land Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy. Unfortunately for the Vikings though, they will be playing in arguably the toughest division in football next year. Each of the Lions, Packers, and Bears could make a strong playoff push next season.
Hoping for a miracle:
- Washington Commanders (+10000)
- Arizona Cardinals (+10000)
- New York Giants (+10000)
- Las Vegas Raiders (+10000)
- Denver Broncos (+12000)
- Tennessee Titans (+15000)
- New England Patriots (+15000)
- Carolina Panthers (+25000)
The Arizona Cardinals are in prime position to land the greatest wide receiver prospect since Calvin Johnson and were a very feisty team a season ago, even without quarterback Kyler Murray for most of the season. Yes, the Cardinals aren’t a very talented team, but they have heart and that alone is enough to make them the best bet of anyone on this list.
