Accused killer mom Metallica Rose Harrison shared glowing pictures of her husband and young son on social media before she allegedly stabbed the pair to death and called asking for help on how to kill herself at a resort in the Poconos.
The 27-year-old mom regularly posted a picture of herself, her husband, Charles Harrison, and their 3-year-old son smiling on vacations, including snaps from August.
Metallica Rose also shared a photo of her and her son, identified so far only by his initials, T.H., on a Ferris wheel earlier this summer.
Her husband also shared numerous happy family snaps — including a loved-up wedding photo just three years ago, with his head lovingly resting against his bride’s.
The mom of one, from Towanda, Pennsylvania, is accused of stabbing her husband and son before slashing her wrists and neck inside a hotel room at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos on Monday.
She then reportedly called 911, asking for advice on finding the right vein to cut as she was unable to kill herself, according to police.
“My husband and son are already gone in the bed in the living room. They’re already gone, I’m sorry,” she reportedly told emergency services.
Harrison refused to talk to cops during her arrest, but ranted to medics about working “so hard to be the best person, the best mother, the best wife,” according to the affidavit.
“It wasn’t supposed to end like this. I was supposed to have my happy family. That’s what I envisioned since I was a child,” she continued.
Cops were seen outside the couple’s home in Bradford County, some two hours north of the hotel, on Tuesday night, where neighbors said they were horrified by the news.
“I’ve heard sometimes a lot of yelling at times, but that’s pretty much it,” one unidentified neighbor told WNEP.
“They haven’t really been out running through the neighborhood; they just stay by themselves up by the house,” another neighbor, Lee Henry, told the outlet.
Harrison was taken to the hospital for self-inflicted injuries and is receiving treatment, according to court documents.
She remains in police custody.
