It’s a real-life “Coffin Flop!”
Wild viral footage shows a corpse falling out of a casket as it’s being carried by pallbearers to its final resting place in Guyana.
The pallbearers lifted the sky blue casket out of the hearse and had only taken a few steps on a grassy bank when the mishap happened during Sunday’s bungled funeral service.
Mourners at the ceremony held in the South American country screamed in horror, while the casket bearers scrambled to put the body inside, video obtained by JamPress shows.
One man was directing traffic, ordering two others to move the coffin to stop it from crushing the body even more.
The video, which has racked up around 450,000 views, has since sparked a frenzy online – with commentators mocking those who constructed the coffin.
“In all my 50-plus years in Guyana, I have never seen a dry-rot casket; no matter how cheap the coffin is, it never falls apart,” one viewer said.
“Did they use the wood from that little bridge to make the coffin or what?” another commented.
Others suggested even wackier theories – ranging from the casket being made out of cardboard to ants feasting on the bottom.
Viewers also claimed it was a sign the person inside didn’t want to go to their final resting place.
“They said dead man tells no tails [sic] but this dead is telling something,” one social media user wildly suggested.
