Jonathan Quick is sticking around.
The Rangers are hiring the future Hall of Fame goalie as director of goaltending development, The Post has learned. Quick will join the player development staff and report to Tanner Glass.
After finishing his 19-year NHL career with the Blueshirts, playing three seasons for the team he grew up rooting for, Quick is transitioning into a new phase of his career.
The plan is for Quick to manage the development of the organization’s goalies, including AHL Hartford and other leagues.
