Madison Beer and Justin Herbert’s engagement already looked like a storybook moment, but the singer’s mother, Tracie Beer, made the family’s approval unmistakable.
After the couple announced the news on Tuesday, Tracie shared an emotional message about the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback and the happiness he has brought her daughter.
“All a mother wants is for her child to be happy,” Tracie wrote on Instagram. “I’m so elated and fulfilled … my daughter has met the man of her dreams. Such comfort in knowing he will protect and love her forever.”
She added that the relationship felt destined, writing, “Some things are meant to be, and this is certainly one of them!”
Herbert proposed beneath a flower-covered outdoor arbor, dropping to one knee before the couple kissed and danced. The singer later showed off the massive diamond ring in a TikTok video, repeatedly flashing the new jewelry with a wide smile.
The couple announced the engagement in a joint Instagram post captioned, “Meet my fiancé.”
Tracie continued celebrating in the comments.
“My heart is glowing. My soul is fulfilled. My eyes won’t stop watering with tears of joy,” she wrote. “Justin Herbert, I love and adore you. Madison Beer, dreams do come true.”
Beer and Herbert were first linked in August 2025 after the quarterback appeared at one of her photo shoots. They later confirmed their relationship with a sideline kiss before a Chargers game and made another public appearance together at a Lakers game.
Herbert also appeared in the May 2026 music video for Beer’s single “Lovergirl,” which featured the couple sharing affectionate moments on a beach.
Tracie, an interior designer and inventor of the contour hanger, has remained closely involved in Madison’s life and career. She moved from New York to Los Angeles with Madison and her brother, Ryder, when the singer was 13.
Her latest message leaves little doubt about her feelings toward Herbert.
Tracie believes her daughter has found someone who will protect her, love her and keep her happy.
