‘MobLand’ Season 2 Return Date Info: When Does Tom Hardy’s ‘MobLand’ Season 2 Come Out?

by markoflorentino@icloud.com

It’s been a wild last few months in the wild world of MobLand.

Production on the second season of the Paramount+ favorite has concluded, but back in May, it was reported that series star Tom Hardy wouldn’t be returning for a probable third season. Friction between the star and showrunner Jez Butterworth — Hardy’s chronic lateness was cited as one of the alleged sources of contention — led to Hardy’s possible departure from the hit series.

But not so fast! Earlier this week, Deadline reported that Hardy will be returning to the series after a seemingly positive meeting between Hardy, Butterworth, and series executive producer David Glasser. A third season — the show hasn’t officially been renewed, but Season 3 is expected — will once again likely focus on Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren’s characters.

When will MobLand return with new episodes? Here’s the latest on the MobLand Season 2 premiere date.

Is MobLand Airing A New Episode This Week (July 1)?

Nope. Sadly, MobLand isn’t airing any new episodes this week (or next week). The Season 1 finale premiered June 1, 2025, on Paramount+.

Has MobLand Been Renewed For Season 2?

Yes! Not only has the show been renewed for a second season, but a third season is also expected, with a Season 3 writers’ room already underway.

When Will MobLand Season 2 Premiere on Paramount+?

There’s no official MobLand Season 2 release date, but back in May, executive producer/director Guy Ritchie told ScreenRant that the show is expected to be back “before the end of the year.”

With the first season concluding in June 2025, our best guess is a fall 2026 premiere date.

Is Tom Hardy Returning To MobLand?

Yes! As we mentioned above, Tom Hardy will now be back for a probable third season of MobLand!
