Prince George is a teenager!
The future king turned 13 on Wednesday, with his parents marking the milestone moment by sharing a new portrait to Instagram.
âHappy 13th Birthday, George! đâ Kate Middleton and Prince William captioned the social media upload.
George suited up and smiled in the snap, both hands in his pockets.
King Charles and Queen Camilla re-posted the picture on their Story with a cake emoji, writing, âHappy 13th birthday to Prince George!â
The teen is the eldest of the Princess and Princess of Walesâ other two children: Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.
He was born in July 2013.
In September, George is set to attend Eton College, the same prestigious boarding school his dad, 44, was enrolled in from 1995 to 2000.
We hear George will have a harder time at Williamâs alma mater since his father attended âbefore social media transformed adolescence.â
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield exclusively explained to Page Six, âThe biggest challenge wonât be academics or making friends. Itâll be balancing Prince Georgeâs privacy with the reality that every classmate has TikTok.
âDigital exposure, drones, social media and the speed at which information spreads all complicate the security picture,â she added. âThat means Prince Georgeâs protection will almost certainly be more sophisticated.â
Despite the complications, Schofield believes Georgeâs parents will âallow him enough freedomâ to learn from ânavigating the world, making friends and solving problems independently.â
George previously attended Windsorâs Lambrook School with his younger siblings and was a student at Thomasâs Battersea in London before that.
This is a developing storyâŠ
