Tonys season has begun.
The nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards, honoring the best of Broadway, were announced Tuesday by former nominee Uzo Aduba and former winner Darren Criss.
There are 30 Broadway productions eligible for 2026 Tony nominations — compared to the 42 last year, according to Deadline.

At the 2025 Tonys, “Maybe Happy Ending” and “Purpose” took home the top prizes for Best Musical and Best Play, respectively.
Other winners last year included Criss for “Maybe Happy Ending,” Sarah Snook for “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” Nicole Scherzinger for “Sunset Boulevard” and Cole Escola for “Oh, Mary.”
Pink is hosting the 2026 Tonys, set to air from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
